This charming house stands in the foothills of the mountain "La Peña Montanesa" in the village of Los Molinos. The renovation of Casa Tabierna was undertaken based on bio-construction techniques using ecological paints and wood from local forests treated with natural oils.

The ground floor has a dining room, living room, kitchen and bathroom. A futon in the living room also serves as a double bed. The first floor houses a bathroom and two comfortable bedrooms; one with a double bed, and one with twin beds. Both bedrooms lead out to the south facing terrace with lovely views of the countryside, ideal for dining alfresco and for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings.

Great attention has been paid to the interior decoration of the property. The combination of terracotta floor tiles and wooden floors, rustic and modern furniture, stone walls and walls painted in light, refreshing colours creates a truly enchanting atmosphere.

Nearby excursions include trekking in the Peña Montanesa and the birds of prey circular walk, a visit to the Espelunga hermitage, and the San Victorián monastery. There are two restaurants/bars in the neighbourhood, both offering authentic regional cuisine.
